It is often impossible for older people to adopt a pet from an animal shelter. We rehome suitable older animals to give them a chance and to fulfill the wish of people who long for companionship.

We pay particular attention to ensure, that  person and animal are a good match and that a harmonious relationship can develop. At the same time, we assume responsibility beyond the moment of adoption: Should the owner  have to go to the hospital or, in the worst-case scenario, pass away, we will, of course, take the animal back and arrange for safe housing or rehoming.

Because this comprehensive support requires a great deal of care and organizational resources, we can only offer a limited number of spaces for this special service. This ensures that every animal and every person receives the support they need.
